Restoring period buildings with traditional craft skills and methods, materials and period tools
At Whitace Bespoke Carpentry, we specialise in architectural conservation carpentry and joinery. Begun in 2012 from roots in other businesses as far back as 2003 we have a long history working with timber and period buildings.
From our North Warwickshire workshops we offer on site works with in a 50 mile radius. If your further afield get your joinery to us for restoration and we will return it finished.
Our passion lies in the repair and restoration of period and listed buildings, ensuring that the historic timber fabric is preserved for future generations.
From timber frame barns and cottages to cupolas and windows we will repair and restore any architectural carpentry and joinery built before 1950. Listed buildings are no problem to us and we take care of all period properties listed or not.
As well as building conservation we also undertake Midland Bullock style hedgelaying.
We also run teaching courses on repair of period windows, hand timber conversion methods and hand tool woodworking. A limited number of one to one or one to two teaching slots are also available.
